Dr. Mo Mai is originally from Tampa, Florida. She graduated from University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology. She completed her medical school at Ross University School of Medicine. Her residency was completed at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Mai also obtained her Master's degree in Public Health at SUNY Downstate followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology at SUNY Downstate.

Dr. Mai enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling. When traveling, she loves to collect piggy banks and Starbucks cups as souvenir from different countries, states, and places. Other hobbies include kayaking, hiking and snowboarding. In addition, she is a big chocolate lover and her all-time favorite is Mauna Loa Milk Chocolate Macadamia from Hawaii.

Dr. Mai is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
